many times, photographers will find an attractive person, put them anywhere in fine apparel, and pop a lit cigarette in their mouth and cock their lil camera away. this is fine, as it is still photography, but what's the message you're sending? I like pictures with a message of hope and love, not of 'if you smoke you're beautiful and people will want to take photographs of you doing just that'. that said, i do not usually like to condone smoking as glamorous when it comes to photography. however, i find that this picture says so much more than just the women smoking a cigarette. her passionate pose, the ominous background
the world is a big place.
